Primitive Reflex Integration /

MNRI Method

MNRI (Masgutova Neuro-Reflex Integration):The theory of primitive reflexes holds that they are primarily responsible for survival, and that they are integrated through unimpeded motor development.

The MNRI method is a therapeutic approach that works with primitive reflexes to support the development of movement, behaviour, and learning.A primitive reflex is considered integrated once the cerebral cortex takes the leading role over the primitive brain structures.

What is the Medek Cuevas Method?

The Medek Cuevas method is a modern rehabilitation approach designed for children with motor difficulties and delayed motor development.

Therapy is based on specific dynamic exercises that promote the development of balance, stability, and movement control.

The goal is for the child to gradually develop functional skills such as trunk control, sitting, standing, and walking.

Who Is the Therapy For?

It may be part of rehabilitation for children with:

  • Cerebral palsy,
  • Delayed motor development,
  • Hypotonia,
  • Down syndrome,
  • Other neurological or developmental challenges.

During therapy, the therapist uses specific exercises that stimulate automatic postural responses and the development of new motor patterns, through individually adapted programmes with continuous monitoring of the child's progress.

The DMI method emerged from the CME method, with minimal differences in exercise execution.

TheraSuit /

TheraSuit program

consists of muscle strengthening in the Balkanski frame, deep body proprioception using the TheraSuit suit, and a full spectrum of exercises in the spider.

Our holistic approach focuses on encouraging independence. During each treatment, a large number of aids and techniques are used, including the TheraSuit® suit (a soft dynamic proprioceptive orthosis), the universal exercise unit (exercise cage), the spider, Galileo vibration platform therapy, primitive reflex integration treatment, and use of the Giger device (as the primary stimulus for crawling and cross-body movements).

Feldenkrais & JKA

If you break down each step of a folk dance choreography, the brain absorbs and executes the movement much more easily. This is exactly the essence of the Feldenkrais and JKA methods.

Every child can learn higher-quality, easier movement – with the right approach.

In the Feldenkrais method we work in line with the child’s natural development. Just as babies spontaneously learn through movement, pauses, and repetition, this method enables the brain to recognize and adopt new movement patterns.

Through gentle, precise movements and a carefully guided process, the child gradually develops better coordination, stability, and confidence in movement.

Parents often notice the difference — movements become easier, more natural, and more secure.

Most frequently asked question:

Can Feldenkrais/JKA be combined with other methods?My answer is: "YES" - and once more: "YES."

Parents sometimes receive negative answers and find themselves in a confusing situation when all they want is the best for their child. The essential answer here is simply to combine methods correctly.

A therapist who doesn’t allow combination with their own method may simply not know the essence of the other methods, so it’s easier for them to say no.

Our personal experience has shown these methods have a wonderful effect on children who often go through intensive treatments. For example, Medek exercises in spastic children increase muscle tone during the session. Feldenkrais treatment afterwards then reduces muscle spasticity.

We also love to give parents a break. After a three-week intensive, the parent is trained in the exercises and carries them out at home. Every month or two, it’s desirable for the child to undergo a five-day Feldenkrais and JKA treatment where the parent does nothing — we give both the parent and the child’s brain a rest from the home exercise routine.

During the five-day Feldenkrais and JKA treatment, we give the brain a different input, processing, and integration of the information it has received.
